Telesnica
The Telesnica program has been running since 2012 and is intended for high school students, their parents and school employees.
With the help of an internet presentation, participants are illustratively informed about the forms of human trafficking and the true stories of the victims, as well as introduced to the traps that human traffickers constantly change in order to deceive and abuse victima as skillfully as possible. They are also informed about the procedures that follow disclosure and reporting to the competent government institutions and the Society Ključ.
The role of workshops’ participants is active, that is, we try to get answers from them, and later we also explain those answers expertly. Our experience shows that it makes sense to hold workshops for all three target groups (boys and girls, school employees and their parents), because this is the only way they can react appropriately in a possible human trafficking situation. The school can also decide to combine workshops for school employees and parents into one.
In 2020, the project is co-funded by the Office of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia for Communication, the Office of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia for Nationalities and the Ministry of Education, Science and Sports as part of activities aimed at raising awareness of vulnerable groups about human trafficking. Preventive workshops and other preventive activities for young men and women in the first years of secondary schools across Slovenia, especially in regions with a large number of members of Roma community, wil be held for free. We hold workshops and other activities in Ljubljana, Celje, Radovljica, Maribor, Kranj, Škofja Loka, Višnja Gora, Novem Mesto, Koper, Sežana, Postojna, Ilirska Bistrica, Ravne na Koroška, Velenje and Krško.
In 2019, we held 62 preventive workshops, one round table and one gathering at the pool. We informed 1,524 children throughout Slovenia. You can read more about the project results at: Project results.

In 2018, we held 85 preventive workshops throughout Slovenia, which were attended by 2,045 young people. Project results 2018.

In 2016, the Office of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia for Communication co-funded the implementation of 60 workshops for male and female students and young people in educational institutions and youth homes in various locations across Slovenia.
