Prava zveza

The project Prava zveza (True relationship) is a continuation of the project Drugačna zveza (Different relationship) which has been running until 2015.

The target group of the project are young people studying in the area of ​​the Municipality of Ljubljana. The aim of project is for young people to recognize different forms of violence and their own violent behavior and to act appropriately in cases of violence. The main guideline of the workshops that are  carried out as part of the project at secondary schools and colleges is that violence is always entirely the perpetrator’s fault, that violence is a problem of society and not an individual, that violence is an abuse of power for which there is no excuse, and to teach non-violent behavior.

The SOS telephone association for women and children – victims of violence, the LEGEBITRA Information Center Association, the Mladi zmaji Institute, social marketing Iz principa, the Association for Nonviolent Communication, the Association for POWER and the Society Ključ – center for the fight against human trafficking participate in this project.

The project’s annual activities include preventive workshops on all forms of violence and human trafficking, intended for schoolchildren and students in the Municipality of Ljubljana. In addition to the lectures, additional activities aimed at young people and the general public are held annually.
