Yesterday, on European Anti-Trafficking Day Stockholm hosted the official award ceremony for 10 organisations from across Europe working to help victims of human trafficking and protect children from sexual violence.
We were chosen from 130 nominated organisations; our work, our efforts and our support for vulnerable people were recognised as exceptionally important, and Queen Silvia presented the award on behalf of her foundation and CHILD10.
An extraordinary event, extraordinary people, and an extraordinary feeling when effort, work and persistence are recognised not only nationally but internationally. And a chance to thank all our staff and volunteers — and everyone with experience of trafficking who trusts us and, with our support, is taking important, brave steps towards the life you want and deserve.
