Društvo Ključ — Centre for the Fight Against Trafficking in Human Beings is hiring a lawyer.

• Contract length: 27 months, with the possibility of extension.
• Hours: full time (mainly mornings, Monday to Friday).
• Salary: €2,916 total cost of employment.
• Location: Ljubljana.

We are looking for:

• a second-cycle Bologna degree (formerly university degree) in law (we also accept applications from those close to completing the second cycle who will graduate by June 2025);
• excellent written and spoken Slovenian and English;
• a genuine liking for working with people;
• initiative;
• public speaking skills;
• the ability to work in a team;
• flexibility;
• a desire to gain new knowledge and experience.

Preference will be given to candidates who:

• have experience, including voluntary work, with vulnerable people (victims of violence and abuse, disabled people, people with mental health difficulties or addiction, victims of human trafficking and so on);
• understand and speak at least one other foreign language well;
• hold a driving licence and have their own transport;
• and have a good knowledge of criminal law, employment law and administrative procedure.
